The contract

Nullity of the contract

Ineffectiveness of the insurance from the origin when, upon its conclusion, the risk did not exist or the claim had already occurred.

In practice

It is different from termination: here there was never a contract. It appears when a work already started or a claim already known is insured, and it is the reason why retroactivity is agreed before the letter arrives.
