The contract
Concurrence of insurance
Situation in which several policies cover the same interest and the same risk. The insured must inform all the insurers involved.
In practice
It appears more often than one might think: the operational liability of the parent company and that of the subsidiary, or the transport of the seller and that of the buyer. Each insurer contributes in proportion to its sum, and wilful failure to communicate releases all.
