Clause of the master policy that completes the indemnity when the limit of the local policy is exhausted before the group's standard.
In practice
It always goes alongside the DIC and addresses the other half of the problem: the local policy may cover the same but with a much lower limit. Both are activated after exhausting the local policy, not in parallel.
