Vested rights
Amount accumulated by a participant in a pension plan, resulting from their contributions and the performance obtained.
In practice
They can only be redeemed in the foreseen cases —retirement, disability, dependency, death, serious illness, long-term unemployment, and contributions with ten years of antiquity—. Their taxation as employment income conditions when it is convenient to collect them.
