The role

Marketing at an independent broker does not sell a catalogue: it explains a judgement. This role exists so that what the firm knows —how a sum insured is valued, what a clause really excludes, how a claim is defended— is published with the same rigour with which it is worked on inside. You will work close to the technical teams, because content here is insurance content, and it shows at once when someone writes it from hearsay. And you will hold the brand in the three places where it is decided: the website, LinkedIn and the rooms where we meet the international networks.

What you will do

  • Run the Insights section of the website: plan the calendar of analyses, guides, technical notes and regulatory updates, and write or edit each piece alongside the specialist who signs it.
  • Maintain and expand the insurance glossary: adding terms, reviewing definitions and linking each entry to the solutions and sectors it belongs to.
  • Own the website end to end: content, technical and content SEO, solution and sector landing pages, and coordination with development.
  • Schedule and write LinkedIn, both the firm's account and support for the people on the team who post under their own name.
  • Produce the major-accounts team’s materials: client presentations, sector dossiers, and the templates and editing of proposals and renewal reports. The technical content — cover, limits, deductibles, loss ratios — is signed off by the account executive; marketing supplies the format and the readability.
  • Organise our own events and our presence at those of UnisonSteadfast, TechAssure and LARS Network, and sustain the marketing relationship with all three networks throughout the year, not only at the convention.
  • Measure and report to management: traffic, rankings, where opportunities come from, and which content actually ends up in a commercial conversation.

What we ask for

  • Five years or more running B2B marketing in professional services: insurance, banking, legal, consultancy, engineering or industry.
  • Writing well in Spanish and being able to edit those who do not write. Much of the job is turning a specialist's judgement into publishable text without betraying it.
  • Hands-on SEO and analytics: keyword research, content architecture, structured data, reading Search Console and a set of metrics you can defend in front of management, including when the numbers are against you.
  • Autonomy in delivery: editing in a content management system, building a landing page, finishing a presentation and publishing without depending on anyone.
  • Working English. The relationship with UnisonSteadfast, TechAssure and LARS Network is held in English, in writing and in meetings.
  • A willingness to learn the class of business: here you cannot write about cyber insurance without understanding what the policy leaves out.
  • Working inside a supervised sector. At a brokerage every commercial communication must be clear, fair and not misleading, must identify itself as such, and must not imply any tie to an insurer. We do not expect you to know this on day one; we do expect you to work within it.

What we value

  • Previous experience in broking, an insurer, risk management or risk consultancy.
  • Having worked with international networks or alliances of independent firms.
  • Written Catalan, for the materials and events that call for it.
  • Command of CRM and marketing automation tools.
  • Enough design and video editing to resolve pieces in house rather than outsourcing them.

What we offer

  • Reporting directly to management and your own judgement over the marketing plan: there is no intermediate layer rewriting what you propose.
  • Access to the technical teams —large accounts, international programmes, claims, credit and surety, employee benefits— as the source for content and for commercial materials.
  • Direct contact with UnisonSteadfast, TechAssure and LARS Network and with their marketing teams in other countries.
  • Aporta, our own flexible pay plan: the same tool the firm implements for its clients, applied here inside.
  • An audited environment: quality management system certified to ISO 9001 by SGS, and Great Place to Work certification 2025, decided by an anonymous survey of the whole workforce.
  • Continuous training and careers measured in years, with whatever technical training in the class you need in order to write about it.
